Since our goal is to provide you with a professional liquidation and help eliminate any unwanted stress normally associated with such endeavors, we will meet with you to assess every detail of your sale, move, or clean-out. Making the transition easier for you is what we do best! California Estate Liquidators is with you every step of the way. A sale happens in the following 8 steps:
1. WE MEET
Identify your goals and needs, view the items you wish to sell, and formulate a plan. This meeting is a free consultation and there is no obligation to choose Hidden Treasures as your estate sale service provider.
2. ORGANIZE YOUR STUFF
Group items in sellable categories, separate items you want to keep or that cannot be sold, clean sellable items, organize and set up the home in preparation for the estate sale. This step is generally the most difficult and time consuming step. We look forward to making this step the easiest on you!
3. PRICE ITEMS
Assess fair market value for each item using our experience with antiques and knowledge of marketing. Pricing is the key to liquidation and the key component to a successful estate sale.
4. SET UP DISPLAYS
We will provide display tables and cases for jewelry, clothing, books, and other displayable items.
Promote the sale on our HT Estates website, in local newspaper(s), on yard signs, and with private dealers.
6. ESTATE SALE
Provide professional and highly experienced sales staff to ensure an organized and successful estate sale.
7. POST SALE
Handle all post sale transitions including delivery of sold items and providing unsold items as charitable contributions. Receipts for charitable donations will be provided to you upon request.
8. CLEAN UP
Ensure your home is cleaned out and ready for move in or be put on the real estate market.
